Responsibilities: Directs operations of the EH&S Unit in support of the mission of UCSC. Provides leadership and oversight for the EH&S Unit which is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of policies and programs intended to prevent occupational injuries and illnesses, protect the quality of the surrounding environment and facilitate compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
