Title: Safety and Training Coordinator
Responsibilities: Plans, develops, coordinates, and implements major educational components of the integrated safety and environmental management system for the UCSC campus. As the lead safety professional within the Safety and Injury Management (SIM) Team, plays a leadership role in the development, coordination and implementation of campus-wide safety programs and curriculum to increase employee, supervisor, and manager competencies related to workplace safety and injury prevention, workers’ compensation, and the management of work-related injuries.
