Fire Safety Resources

UCSC Fire Department is the Authority Having Jurisdiction for this campus, and should be consulted with any questions about fire or life safety in UCSC buildings. They also conduct training in fire extinguisher use, CPR and first aid, and refill fire extinguishers that need recharging.

The National Fire Protection Association has safety information, training materials, and fire prevention news. Avoid trying the "Codes Online" link unless you have a subscription; a badly written javascript loop won't let you out of the sign-on page.
