UCSC will consider the following protective measures.

• UCSC Building Coordinators and Residential Assistants (RAs) review evacuation plans and disaster protocols with building occupants.
• All campus members should familiarize themselves with their building evacuation plan and know where to assemble during an evacuation.
• All campus members should know who their building coordinators are.
• All campus members should practice basic crime prevention methods such as locking doors, being aware of your surroundings, and reporting suspicious activity. For more information read the UCSC Personal Safety Handbook.

Members of the campus community can:
