Property Transactions

The University requires that an environmental property assessment be made before completing property transactions (lease or transfer). click here for full size version 662K

Conducted by Dan Blunk, Environmental Programs Mgr, 9-3541, the property transaction assessment is an evaluation of the property with respect to past or present environmental or human health hazards that may pose a hazard to University personnel or pose a potential clean-up liability for the University.

The environmental property investigation includes an investigation and review of previous activities at that site, interview with the property owner, review of environmental regulatory agency records and data bases for that location, and a site visit.
