UCSC EH&S IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE ERGOCRUZ - A campus wide ergonomic injury prevention program

Are you or a co-worker in need of an ergonomic workstation adjustment? Do you or others in your department need new ergonomic equipment such as a chair or keyboard tray, but are not sure your department can afford it?

Consider becoming a Departmental Ergonomic Assessor! As a Departmental Ergonomic Assessor, you can make a positive impact in preventing ergonomic injury AND minimize the financial impact to your department through our ErgoCruz Matching Funds Program.

Here’s How:

• Register for the Departmental Ergonomic Assessor training through the BAS Events Manager.
• Mentoring and post-training coaching provided by a certified ergonomist.
• Classes will be held at least quarterly. Check the BAS Events Manager for the next scheduled class.
• Provide ergonomic assessments for department co-workers & friends.
• Take advantage of the ErgoCruz Matching Funds Program - Funding is limited on a per-employee annual basis. For the first fiscal year (or until we run out of cash, whichever comes first) an employee is eligible for the first $200 covered completely, and 75% of the remaining amount spent, up to a total of $1,000 paid in matching funds per person per year.
